Former Stainton le Vale resident Lesley Tither has just published her first crime novel.
Already well known as a writer of travel memoirs under the pen name Tottie Limejuice, Lesley has written ‘Baby’s Got Blue Eyes’ under the name of L M Krier and the book is climbing steadily through the rankings, attracting 5-star reviews.
‘Baby’s Got Blue Eyes’ is being heralded as ‘delightfully different’ as its main police character is a departure from the usual hard-drinking detective with a rocky marriage.
DI Ted Darling is a non-drinker, who happens to be gay, and has his own unique way of dealing with any prejudice that brings him.
Lesley lived in Stainton for ten years whilst working in Market Rasen, Tealby, Faldingworth and Grimsby.
Her late father, John Krier Tither, was also a journalist, newspaper editor and former president of the Guild of British Newspaper Editors.
Lesley now lives in central France and writes full time.
