A new course to help people get back to work is being run at Market Rasen Library next month.

The course is open to tenants of the Acis housing group only - those looking for employment but who were unable to find work, as well as those already in work but looking to increase their skills in order to progress further.

Lincolnshire based housing association Acis have teamed up with Riverside Training of Gainsborough to provide the sessions on Wednesday afternoons from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.

Sessions will give support in gaining interview techniques, producing a CV and matching skills to job descriptions, as well as help in understanding and completing both online and paper job applications.

“Just the Job is a great example of working together with our tenants to help find a future path that suits them,” said a spokesman for Acis, which owns and manages more than 5,300 homes inLincolnshire,

Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire.

“It is specifically designed for our tenants, supporting those looking to up-skill or return to work.

“Just the Job aims to give people the skills for work and skills for life, providing employment support in

key areas.”

Just the Job will run for four weeks, starting on Wednesday April 24.
