Market Rasen Library wants you to be part of a record breaking reading challenge which could set a new Guinness World Record.
As part of the 2015 Summer Reading Challenge, Market Rasen Library is joining up with the Reading Agency and libraries across the country to try and break the record for the ‘most pledges received’ for a reading campaign.
Between 10:30am and 12:30pm on Saturday, July 11, you can fill in a pledge card and make your reading promise at the library.
Area manager Nicola Rogers has said she is looking forward to the event.
She said: “It’s not every day that you get to be part of an official world record break attempt and we are thrilled that Lincolnshire Libraries can support the Reading Agency and join with libraries across the county to encourage children to read and set a world record at the same time.
“Anyone can pledge so I really hope that as many people as possible visit will one of our pledge libraries on Saturday and help us become record breakers.”
