TURN back time this weekend at Gainsborough Old Hall.
Learn at first hand about what life was like over the last two millennia at one of the county’s timeless tourist attractions.
Travels through Time is a multi-period event looking at life from the Romans up to the Second World War and runs on Sunday, August 26, and Monday, August 27, from 10am-5pm.
“The whole family can experience the history of this beautiful medieval manor house by meeting past Gainsborough residents,” said site co-ordinator Victoria Mason.
“From the Tudors in the tower to a Civil War soldier in the Solar, there are many people to see and best of all its free.”
The event is funded by the Trent Vale Partnership, who in turn are funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
