Youngsters packed into Market Rasen Library last Wednesday to make sure they weren’t late for a very important date. And there were white rabbits galore as they marked the 150th anniversary of the Lewis Carroll classic Alice in Wonderland with a fun craft day.
After the cutting and sticking was done, there was time to settle down for a tea party - with a jam theme of course - which all proved to be very popular.
“We have been packed out with youngsters making white rabbit faces and Cheshire Cat cut-outs,” said librarian Mel Fenwick. “And we would like to thank Jane Gillard for leading the craft activities - we couldn’t have done it without her.”
