A move across the Channel has resulted in a best selling book for a former Rasen area resident.
Lesley Tither lived at Stainton le Vale from 1997 to 2007 whilst working locally as a freelance copywriter, a job she continues to do from France via the internet.
She was also a part time course tutor and lecturer in equine studies at Grimsby College.
Now Lesley has published a paperback about her family’s decision to move to France and the book is currently standing at number two on the Amazon bestsellers list for its category.
The book, Sell the Pig, published under the pen name of Tottie Limejuice, has been available for Kindle since February 2012 and has regularly featured in the top 20 books of its category on Amazon, attracting many five-star reviews.
It tells the story of Lesley’s decision to move to France with her elderly mother, who suffered from vascular dementia and was receiving disappointing care in the UK.
Lesley still lives in the Auvergne region of central France and has recently applied for dual British/French nationality.
Sell the Pig is available from Amazon.co.uk and it is hoped it will also soon be on sale at The Big Corner Shop.
