Look at some of the best loved and most interesting sites in Lincolnshire from a totally different perspective – the air.
Aerial photographs and maps are valuable resources for understanding the historic landscape, if you know what to look for and how to interpret them. A Saturday afternoon session with Nettleton WEA will explore the background and development of maps and how aerial photographs can help us identify the landscape from the air.
The session takes place on Saturday, November 2, from 2.30pm to 5.30pm in Nettleton Village Hall and will be tutored by David Start. The cost is £6, including afternoon tea.
