Market Rasen rider Phil Crowe escapes serious injury after a high speed crash at Cadwell Park last weekend.
Crowe was contesting the National Superstock 1000 Championship race where he was running in 24th place after two laps.
But just one lap later another rider tried an unsuccessful move on him at Charlie’s, resulting in both hurtling into the tyre wall.
Crowe was knocked out in the crash, which was not his fault, and taken to hospital for a check-up before being allowed home.
His Shoei helmet did its job and possibly saved his life as it took the full force of the crash.
