Market Rasen twins Tim and Tom Neave will make the big step up to the high-profile National Superstock 600 class this weekend.
The brothers, who raced Thundersport GB last season, will open their Superstock campaign on Sunday as in a support race to the British Superbike championship at Silverstone.
The 19-year-olds rode in selected Superstock 600 events last year, but this will be their first full season in the class and they made their final preparations at the official British Superbike test day last Thursday.
Tom said: “We feel the time is right for both of us to make the move up to the Stock 600 class. It’s high-profile and the field is full of very talented riders.
“After racing with Thundersport GB for a few years we need to further our racing careers by making the step up and we are relishing the chance to mix it with some top riders.”
* The weekend begins with free practice on Friday at 9am followed by the first of two qualifying sessions at 1.25pm.
Final qualifying is on Saturday at 12.15pm ahead of the 10-lap race the next day at 11.45am.
