Martial arts ace Emma Williams was rewarded for years of hard work and discipline when she received her senior black belt first Dan last week.
Emma took up karate at the age of seven and has practiced the martial art at clubs in Market Rasen and Caistor for the last nine years.
She passed her junior black belt in 2013, and having turned 16, Emma has now qualified for the adult black belt.
Emma joins her older brothers Guy and Luke who have also gained their first Dan black belts at the club.
Market Rasen Karate Club instructor Roger Hooton said: “It is a fantastic achievement and shows a great deal of commitment and dedication.”
Beginners, both children and adults, are welcome at the club. For more details about training, call Roger on (01472) 852370.
