Market Rasen jockey Duran Fentiman is set to put a frustrating season behind him with a stint in the Middle East.

Fentiman is about to ditch the British winter and jet out to Bahrain for a five-month spell of riding after a slightly disappointing 2015 turf season in the UK in which he rode only nine winners.

He will return to the UK in March and continue to ride in the 2016 season for trainer Tim Easterby and works at his Malton stables. No Rum came in 3rd in a Juvenile Hurdle at Wetherby. Most of the locally based All Right Partnership were there to cheer on the 4 year old.

In the saddle was apprentice jockey Adam Wedge.

Williams, who set up his stables near Nettleton in the summer, said: “He ran a blinder to finish third behind two winning flat horses.

“He seemed to love his job and jumped great. We look forward to getting him out again soon.”

Race action returns to Market Rasen Racecourse tomorrow (Thursday).

The six-race card gets under way at 1.10pm with last race off at 3.55pm.
