On a very cold Sunday 15 Market Rasen Angling Association members made the 8.30am draw for match 2 in the Keyline Winter Aggregate Shield at the club’s lake on Willingham Road.

The all in came at 9.30am and for the next five hours the anglers found that conditions were tough and the match would be a close affair weight wise and the weights would be on the low side.

Dave Humphreys drew the favoured peg number 24 and once again it proved to be the match winning one with Dave fishing the feeder throughout the match to win with 4lb 8oz, from a very close second Barry De’Ath with 4lb 7oz also feeder fishing from peg 12. Roy Bentley claimed third spot with 3lb 14oz from peg 14, again feeder fishing.

With this win Dave Humphreys now after two matches sits top of the table with nine points, Ted Goulsbra drops to second spot on five points and Barry De’Ath moves into third place with four points.

The next Keyline Winter League match 3 will be fished on November 30, again 8.30am draw.
