Get in the running for Queen’s Jubilee

WILL you be in the running to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee?

As part of Caistor’s celebrations, the new and highly successful town running club has organised a 10k run for Monday June 4.

And if you are thinking of taking part, now is the time to act as applications close on May 18.

The very first Sealord ‘Sting in the Tail’ begins at 10am, when up to 200 runners will set off to take in rural roads and footpaths, with a challenging finish.

Organised in conjunction with Scunthorpe and District Athletic Club, the event offers free off-road parking to participants, along with two water stations and a ‘technical’ T-shirt for all finishers.

Minimum age for runners is 15 and participant number are limited.

Although only established a year ago, Caistor Running Club now has more than 50 members.

The sole purpose of the club is running for fun.
