Market Rasen British Superbike riders Ryuichi Kiyonari and Jason O’Halloran head to Brands Hatch for round six this weekend as the championship reaches its halfway stage.
O’Halloran is currently fifth in the championship standings and will want to score two good results to maintain his position within the top six who will enter the end-of-season shoot-out in September.
Kiyo has not had the best of results so far this season and is down in ninth place, 34 points away from the top six.
He will need a change of luck at the Kent circuit to pick up the extra points he needs to make it into the shoot-out.
On Friday, there are two free practice sessions at 10.15am and 3.20pm followed by a third on Saturday at 10.20am.
The three-stage qualifying session is on track at 4.05pm to determine the grid for the first race on Sunday.
There is a 15-minute warm-up on Sunday at 9.35am ahead of the first 20-lap race at 1.30pm.
The times set in this race will determine the grid positions for the second 20-lap affair which is set for a 4.30pm start.
