The Lincolnshire Area Cyclists Touring Club (CTC) held their awards evening and annual meeting at Binbrook Village Hall last week.
The CTC promotes touring cycling in the county, organising rides into the countryside using quiet roads and Sustrans cycle routes.
BSA Merit Cup was awarded to the group’s rights and safety officer Rodney Jelfs, and the Louth group won the Paul Enderby Memorial Trophy for promoting cycling activities in their area, raising hundreds of pounds for several charities.
The West Lincolnshire Trophy went to West Lincolnshire/Gainsborough area member and cycle training instructor Daniel Nicholson (30), and CTC Lincolnshire Photography Trophy was won by Trevor Halstead.
Finally, the Cyclist Touring Club Certificate of Merit was awarded to Andrew Townhill for his work over many years.
