Golfers who took part in the Advocate Arms Market Rasen 2015 Charity Golf Challenge had a grand day as they teed off for charity last week.
Local golfers played alongside entrants from further afield in the 18-hole event at Kenwick Park Golf Club and raised £1,185 for Prostate Cancer UK.
Steve Boryszczuk, from Market Rasen Golf Club, played with colleagues Bill Collins and Nigel Larder, and paid tribute to the organisers and those who supported the event.
He said: “I came last year and the organisers did a great job. There has been a good turn-out again this year and some fantastic prizes.
“It is a really good event and raised money for a worthy cause.”
A field of 47 golfers took part with a fish and chip supper in the clubhouse and a raffle and auction to boost funds even further.
Winner was Tom Bright, of Elsham, on 39 points with Cleethorpes golfer Mark Dann finished as runner-up on 37 points.
