Despite an early rain shower, Caistor Hillside Bowls Club were able to successfully complete their open day on Sunday.
A full complement of 84 players competed for the Fred Broddle Memorial Trophy.
After some excellent bowling, the eventual winners were a team from Caistor, comprising of J.M. Broddle, P. Marriott and S. Wood, with eight points and shot difference of 35.
The runners-up were Tealby’s G. Thornally, J. Reid and J. Purkiss with eight points and a shot difference of 28.
