Caistor CC First XI consolidated their place in the top four of the Lincolnshire County League Premier with victory over Alkborough on Saturday.
The bottom side were beaten by five wickets at Brigg Road, largely thanks to four-wicket hauls from Kieran Brooker and Paul Jackson.
Having won the toss the hosts put Alkborough in who made a solid start despite losing opener Dave Kilgallon for three.
Jackson (4 for 53) came on at first change with Brooker and did the damage, removing four of the top five and reducing the visitors from 45-1 to 69-5.
Brooker then played his part, taking 4 for 38 to prise out the middle order and tail.
Andy Williamson held the innings together with 59, coming in at number seven, as the visitors were bowled out for 156, just eight balls shy of their 50-over allocation.
In reply, Harry Boulton (34) and captain Gareth Johnson (35) put on an opening stand of 54 and Paul Dimbleby added a useful 20 before Liam Wood (44 not out) saw the hosts to their target with an over to spare.
