5-3 in the Lincolnshire Intermediate Football League North division.

But both teams still lag behind Cleethorpes Town who thrashed Saxilby 10-0 and stay top. Wrawby Rovers’ 8-2 win over Messingham takes them up to fourth.

Two goals from Harry McGuire and Jaye Dawes plus one Luke Bowden sealed the match at home for Brigg while it was easier to list who didn’t score for Wrawby as they thrashed Messingham.

Tom Heaton scored a brace while Matthew Eagles, Sean Greenfield, Tim Stewart, Josh Rocker, Tom Sprakes and Liam Toner were all on the scoresheet.

This Sunday, October 26, Brigg are again at home, this time to Louth Old Boys in the first round of the Andrew Bandelow Memorial League Cup, kick off 11am.
