FOOTBALL: Penalties cost Caistor Rovers

Caistor Rovers 2-5 Clee Community ESL

Rovers started this game at an excellent pace scoring after just two minutes, some good passing leaving Mike Kelly in the clear to provide a tidy finish.

The game was levelled when Caistor gave away a soft penalty, and the visiting striker made no mistake.

After the break Rovers started well, converting a move through Nathan Usher.

However that was as good as it got for Rovers conceding an equaliser from a free kick, then things got even worse when Rovers concede another penalty, which was well converted.

Rovers decided to go for it in the last ten minutes, which left holes at the back and rovers concede a further two goals.

Man of the match sponsored by Savages Fish and Chips was Luke Williams. Match ball sponsor was Liam Marchant Plumbing and Heating.

Rovers also have a new sponsor, Lincon building and Construction Services.
