FOOTBALL: Lincolnshire could face derby

The Sills and Betteridge Lincolnshire League has been drawn at home in the next round of the FA Inter League Cup and could face local rivals the Humber Premier League.

Through to the last eight of the competition, the winners of which represent England in Europe, the Lincolnshire side will entertain either the Humber Premier League or the Wearside League.

This is the stage reached by the Lincolnshire League two years ago before they were knocked out by the Cheshire League at Lincoln United’s Ashby Avenue ground.

This time round, victories over the West Yorkshire League, Peterborough and District League and Birmingham Amateur Football Association have set up their latest quarter final appearance.

Elsewhere in the tournament holders Jersey Football Combination travel to either Kent County League or Dorset Premier League.

Isle of Man League entertain West Riding County Amateur League.
