FOOTBALL: Honours even between Clee Motors and Caistor Rovers

Clee Motors 3-3 Caistor Rovers

This was played in very windy conditions which both teams struggled to come to terms with and the advantage was always going to be held by whoever adjusted to the elements quickest.

It proved to be Rovers, who took the lead through an excellent finish from 16-year-old Josh Cook. This was quickly followed by a thunderous strike from Nathan Usher.

Motors started to carve out chances of their own and pulled one back. But this was quickly followed by A third Rovers strike through the hard working Kieran Togher who slotted home from 12-yards.

Just before the break Rovers conceded from a sloppily defended corner.

Motors started the second period with their tails up, having much of the possession without threatening the Rovers goal too much.

This changed when a Motors player popped up at the back post to level the game up.

This was how it finished with Rovers defending well to the end. Man of the match sponsored by Savages Fish and Chip Shop was Adam Reilly. Match ball sponsor was Caistor Paper Shop.
