FOOTBALL: Caistor Rovers seal thrilling three points

Clee Community ESL 3-4 Caistor Rovers

Caistor went into this league fixture looking to avenge a cup defeat to the same opponents two weeks ago.

Rovers dominated the first 45 minutes scoring three good goals, one scored by the ever threatening Kieran Togher, one by Luke Williams and a well taken penalty by the lively Nathan Smith.

But the Caistor defence did concede a sloppy goal at the very end of the first half.

The second half started in the same pattern as the first and saw a well taken free kick from Nathan Smith converted by Kieran Togher.

Rovers hosts did put on a spirited come back with two well taken goals, however Rovers hung on to grab the three points.

Man of the match, sponsored by Savages Fish and Chip Shop, Caistor, went to Jack Marriott. Match ball sponsor was Ron Padbury Electrical.
