Young Prospects continued to keep pressure on top spot in the Caistor Six-a-Side League with an ultimately comfortable 3-1 win against Grey and Young Ones.

Brad Butcher was the man-of-the-match for Young Prospects who know they will need to win all of their remaining seven games to claim the league title including their next, critical match against leaders Caistor Techys.

Caistor had to dig deep as Zac Capp and Co gradually wore down their opponents in a 2-1 win over a hard-working Crusaders side who slip to bottom.

Following a three-game winless run, CTFC have now won back-to-back games after beating NK Dons. Ally Stopper picked up his second man-of-the-match award of the season after a close-fought game.

After a great start to the league, winning three of their opening four matches, Dynamite Parfitt slumped to their third straight defeat last week. Bottom of the league, who couldn’t buy a goal, let alone a win, earlier this season made it two wins on the trot in an enthralling, five-goal thriller against Parfitt with David Chuck the difference.
