Caistor Techys rounded off a dominant season in the Caistor Six-a-Side League with a comfortable 4-0 win over bottom side Crusaders.
Aaron Ford picked up the man-of-the-match award in their final game of the season. The team were also indebted to Jack Marrott and Ben Togher who helped Techys to a convincing title win, dropping only three points during the campaign.
Despite their final position, Crusaders performed well during the season and their solitary victory was a memorable 4-3 win over NK Dons.
CTFC sealed runners-up spot with an entertaining 3-3 draw against NK Dons, capping an outstanding late run in their final eight games. Ally Stopper contributed well as did player-of-the-season Paul Lockington.
The Dons had an inconsistent season, but grabbed some important wins to secure a fifth-place finish.
Young Prospects held off Dynamite Parfitt to claim third spot with a well-earned 3-1 win over Grey and Young Ones.
John Asumang served up a fine all-round performance for his team who finished only one point off the medal positions. Alex Lusby and Brad Butcher were also bright sparks in their season.
Grey and Young Ones will look to start season two in a more consistent manner, helped by John Pucky and keeper Graham Wright.
Charlie Bates continued his excellent form with a man-of-the-match display as fourth-placed Dynamite Parfitt pipped Bottom of the League 3-2.
Parfitt will be disappointed not to fill one of the top two spots having inflicted the only defeat of the season on the champions.
After no points and one goal from their first five games, Bottom of the League fought back admirably to post four wins from their final nine games. They will be hoping to carry these kind of performances into next season which began on Tuesday.
