Boston United have paid tribute to footballer Jordan Sinnott.

Following the death of the Matlock Town player last week, clubs around the globe have sent their condolences by donating shirts with his name and the number 25 - his age - on the back to be displayed at his funeral.

The shirts will then be donated to Sport Relief.

Liverpool and Glasgow Rangers have been among the many high-profile clubs to offer their support, along with teams from as far afield as Melbourne City in Australia and Belgium’s Club Brugge.

Sinnott died in hospital last Saturday after suffering a suspected fractured skull in an alleged late-night assault in Retford.

He was a teammate of Boston United's Luke Shiels and Tom Platt at Alfreton Town, also sharing a dressing room with Scott Garner at FC Halifax Town.
