I have just received notification that the planning inspector has endorsed West Lindsey District Council’s refusal to grant planning permission for a wind turbine between Moortown and South Kelsey.
The vast majority of residents will be delighted with the news that this huge turbine has been refused.
May I thank everyone concerned for their hard work and support on this.
Like all turbine applications, I know only too well the cost, time and effort these applications are to contest.
If I may say a big thank you to the local action group, South Kelsey Parish Council and the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB service, whose senior officer, Stephen Jack, conducted the planning inspector to the best viewing point from Nettleton top and supplied helpful advice to West Lindsey’s planning team.
Finally, a big thank you to our MP, Sir Edward Leigh, who made his views clear.
