Today we hear many negative stories about the NHS.
I can only speak volumes about the excellent care and attention I have received over the last seven months.
In particular, I am grateful to the CT Department at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby for discovering a problem with my liver whilst investigating an unrelated condition.
The nursing staff were attentive and very caring during my stay at Queens Medical Centre Nottingham, notably the liver team led by Adam Brooks and the staff on C32 ward.
Finally, had it not been for the prompt action by Dr Sathish Babu at Louth County Hospital and my own GP, Dr Usama Al-Hamarneh at Newmarket Medical Practice, Louth, I might be experiencing a very different quality of life today.
I am very grateful to you all.
