Market Rasen - An alarming problem

What I have to say is about the continuing alarms going off at the Travis Perkins branch in Jameson Bridge Street after hours.

Many a time that has gone off and no-one seems to do anything about it.

All it takes is for someone to come over and reset it but this ongoing noise is disturbing residents close by namely the nursing home.

I’m sure these elderly residents don’t want to hear this noise all the time disturbing their peace.

Phone calls have been made to the manager about this.

It is time we voiced our opinions on how to deal with this matter.

Not only does it disturb the elderly but anyone who has come home from night duty and they are trying to sleep.

The management just brush this under the carpet and it’s only a matter of time before some angry residents confront the manager and complain.

This has been going on for days now, sometimes the alarm can go on for fives times in such a short space of time. In my opinion relocating the branch to this road was a bad idea.

What we need instead is a garden centre with a cafe inside. People would come far and wide to visit it so please either do something about the alarm or move again because we can only take so much before action can be taken.

If anyone close by who has problems with the alarm and reads this letter then you have every right to complain in one form or another, so come on everyone-do your bit to end this and for once let’s have a peaceful weekend away from this ear piercing alarm which does have a tendency to go off at night too just when we are all settled down in bed.

I can see that the management of that company is not going to be at all happy about all the problems they have caused us.
