Disgust at lack of rail passes

EDITOR – When my wife and I tried to renew our rail passes, I was informed that they were no longer available.

Using the freedom of information act, I have, over the last three months tried to find out who made the decision to withdraw them.

Apparently, it was West Lindsey D.C. I tried to get the name of the person who was responsible but so far no luck.

I then tried a different approach and asked what savings were made by this penny-pinching decision and received the reply this morning.

The answer is “sorry, not been able to establish what savings were made”

I’m lost for words!!!
