Burns supper, ice skating and more supper

Burns Supper - Everyone is welcome to attend the Wragby Burns Supper in the Town Hall this Saturday, January 24, starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £6 per person (£3 for under 12s) and include haggis, neeps and tatties (vegetarian option available), tea/coffee and Highland shortbread.

Take along your own beverages, if you fancy a ‘wee dram’, and a dessert to share – which is optional.

It is traditional to ‘Address the Haggis’ and Scottish music and entertainment will compliment the evening.

Ice Skating - 86 members of Wragby Brownies, Guides, Rainbows, leaders and parents enjoyed their annual treat to the ice rink in Lincoln.

This time the rink was hired just for them and a great time was had by all.

There was also an enrolment ceremony for brownies Chloe, Poppy, Morgan, Faith, Storm and Amelie, plus Guide Louise.

Whist - Results of the drive held in the Town Hall on January 9 were: Ladies - 1 Mrs Y Watson, 2 Mrs E Cockrell, 3 Mrs M Needham; Gents - 1 Mr K Christie, 2 Mr J Lloyd, 3 Mrs E Stubbs; Most 8s - Mrs S Collins; Lowest 1st half - Mrs J Woodthorpe and Mr R Dixon; Miniature - Mrs R Hilton and Mrs E Stubbs.

Valentines Supper - Tickets are now available from Les Robinson for the Annual Valentines Sausage and Mash Supper in the Methodist Church on Saturday February 14.
