Wragby round-up

Quiz night - Members of the Wragby Swimming Club organised a quiz night at The Turnor Arms recently.

It was very well supported with 19 teams entering and approximately £450 was raised for club funds.

Officials have thanked everyone who attended.

Hall boost - Wragby Town Hall’s funds have received a boost to the tune of £1,054.90 - thanks to the success of the annual Christmas Fayre.

There were a host of stalls and other attractions.

The evening was well supported and a highlight proved to be a performance by Wragby School choir.

Festive family bingo - The last monthly Saturday Night Family Bingo of 2013 in the Town Hall will be held on December 14.

All are invited to go along and enjoy the fun and games with a festive theme, while also supporting the hall refurbishing fund.

Eyes down at 7.30pm for some good cash prizes with a raffle and refreshments served during the half time interval.

There will be added treats for everyone too.

Children are especially welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.

Thursday night is adult only bingo, when it is eyes down at the later time of 8pm.

Children’s Challenge - Children in Wragby have been offered the chance to win prizes in a festive competition to find as many ‘hidden sheep’ as possible.

The sheep have been knitted by residents and placed in the windows of shops and businesses in the Market Place,

They can fill in the location of the sheep on an entry form which is available from the Post Office or All Saints Church. Winners will be announced at a crib service on Christmas Eve.
