A close shave for charity was enjoyed by Market Rasen taxi driver Tony Blanchard on Saturday night.
Having grown his beard since February, Tony, who owns Blanchards Taxis, had his chin and his head shaved by landlord of The Chase pub Brian Sankey.
In the process he raised more than £50 for JACKS charity, set-up after the unexplained death of a Market Rasen toddler.
Tony said: “I know Jack’s granddad and know the family so I was happy to do this for them.
“My beard was more than two inches long in places, you could play with it quite happily.”
