A MAN was trapped in his car after it left the road and collided with a tree on Saturday, July 23.
The accident happened at about 7.55pm on the A46 at Usselby.
The driver of the grey BMW 320 saloon was 67 years old and from Barton on Humber.
He was trapped in the car for a time before being airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary, where he underwent surgery.
He remains in intensive care, in a serious condition.
The road re-opened at about 11.30pm.
