AN ELDERLY man had to be cut from a car after a crash with a lorry on the A631 in North Willingham.
The crash, between a black DAF lorry and silver Vauxhall Corsa, happened at about 2.15pm yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, April 11 near to the Sandy Lane junction.
The Corsa ended up in a ditch at the side of the road and its passengers – an elderly couple from Sheffield - sustained minor injuries. They were checked over by paramedics at the scene after the male passenger was cut from the vehicle by firefighters.
The road was closed until 3.46pm. Lincolnshire Police is appealing for information from anyone who saw the collision. Call 101 quoting reference 212 of April 11.
