Former Caistor Grammar School student Matthew Colley takes part in a charity race from Scotland to Madrid this month.
Along with his teammates Lottie and Thomas, he aims to complete the journey within five days, spending as little (or no) money as possible, as well as raising money for three charities.
Visit his ‘just giving’ page.
“This is such an amazing (if slightly scary) opportunity for me, said Matthew, who is now studying at St Andrew’s University, “but I’m really looking forward to it and I would be extremely grateful to anyone who is able to donate something to this fantastic cause - thank you.”
The race is organised by the St Andrew’s charity campaign and they are raising money for three causes - Médecins sans Frontières, Macmillan Cancer Trust and Families First.
