A MAN suffered serious injuries when a car left the road and ended up in a ditch on the A46 near Faldingworth.
The collision took place at around 6.50pm on Sunday, January 23, at the first of the sharp bends between Faldingworth and Middle Rasen.
A blue BMW left the road for an unknown reason and ended up in a ditch.
The passenger, a 40-year-old man from Ludford, sustained serious injuries and is still in ICU at Lincoln County Hospital where his condition is serious but stable. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The 42-year-old woman driver of the car from North Hykeham was treated at the scene by ambulance staff for minor injuries.
The road was closed until 11.40pm.
