Rotherham: Wright facing mounting pressure to resign
The report found at least 1,400 children in the town were sexually exploited by criminal gangs between 1997 and 2013.
Mr Wright was responsible for children’s services at Rotherham Council from 2005 to 2010.

Hide AdHe has apologised for the council’s failings during his time in the post.
But both UKIP and the Liberal Democrats have said he should now stand down as South Yorkshire’s PCC.
The report was scathing in its criticism of both the council and the police and said they knew about the abuse but did nothing about it.
Rotherham Council leader Roger Stone has already resigned in the wake of the report’s findings being made public.
And now PCC Wright is under increasing pressure to also quit.
