Market Rasen’s King Street, Queen Street and part of Willingham Road are set to be resurfaced.
The news comes after discussions between the town council and Lincolnshire County Council’s highways department.
The surfacing will begin at the junction of King Street with Dear St and continue through the town and up Willingham Road, finishing just before the junction with Legsby Road.
Work will start at the beginning of May.
The stretch of Willingham Road will be done under traffic light control and a contra-flow system.
And the high street (King Street and Queen Street)will be done at night, with sectional road closures.
A representative of the highways team will have a display of the planned works at Festival Hall on Wednesday, April 27 between 6.30pm and 7pm, prior to the annual town meeting.
Everyone is welcome to go along.
