Rasen parking charges to remain
Members of West Lindsey District Council's Prosperous Communities voted last night to accept the recommendations put forward.
Those recommendations were to retain parking charges at the current rate in the town, including two-hours free parking, and increase permits over a three-year period.
The Market Rasen paper caused a lengthy discussion among councillors, during which an amendment put forward by Coun John McNeill to suspend charges for 12 months and monitor footfall, but this was defeated.
