A Market Rasen businesswoman has been shortlisted for the prestigious Great British Entrepreneur Awards.
Caroline Kenyon is founder and director of Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year, which in just four years is now the world’s leading food photography and film awards.
“I was absolutely delighted to hear I was a finalist,” she said, “but I had to smile as well since we run awards ourselves and it feels rather surprising to be on the receiving end.
“The nomination is absolutely for my brilliant team as much as it is for me.”
Caroline runs the global award with her team of five from a converted potting shed at the side of her house.
The idea for the award emerged from more than a decade’s experience of commissioning photography as part of running her PR and Events Company.
“I couldn’t understand why there wasn’t already such an award – so I thought we should start one,” added Caroline.
The Entrepreneur Awards reception takes place at London’s Southbank in November.
