SUNDAY bus services from Market Rasen to Lincoln and Grimsby are to cease on April 4.

The cuts are part of Lincolnshire County Council plans to save £1 million.

The 5.10am and 5.55am service from Lincoln to Grimsby, via Market Rasen, which runs Monday to Saturday will also be axed.

The 371 service from Market Rasen to Gainsborough will also be abolished.

The county council plan to run additional school day buses between the two towns from Rasen to Gainsborough at 8.45am with a return at 2.50pm.
