Lincolnshire County Council is holding a series of public meetings so residents can scrutinise its finances.
People will have the chance to question the county council’s leader and executive councilor for finance about the authority’s budget during the meetings.
The council is facing a budget reduction of at least £40 million for the next financial year, with savings of at least £130 million needed over the next four years.
The meetings will look at which services are compulsory and which are optional and explain where savings have already been made and how the authority is funded.
The nearest meeting to Market Rasen is at West Lindsey District Council’s council chamber in Guildhall, Gainsborough.
This takes place on Tuesday, January 12, from 6pm until 8pm.
