A planning application for 30 new homes on the outskirts of Wragby has been given the green light.
The scheme, on a 1.5-hectare site off Louth Road, has generated objections from some residents concerned about potential ‘community, amenity and road safety issues’.
But East Lindsey District Council’s planning committee on Thursday approved the plans, backing a recommendation from planning case officer Jane Baker.
Ms Baker said: “The application site lies in a sustainable location to the north-east of the village and could provide a development that would reflect the character of Wragby.”
The developers will be invited to contribute £12,210 towards the enhancemt of local healthcare facilities and £67,658 towards increasing the capacity of the primary school.
The successful applicants are M Phillipson and J Powell.
