Council ‘no’ to homes plan

BRIGG Town Council’s Planning and Environment Committee has objected to plans submitted to North Lincolnshire Council to build 10 semi-detached dwellings on land off Engine Street.

Concerns were expressed about the increased traffic and impact on sewers, particularly as permission has already been granted for 160 new homes in the same vicinity.

There were also concerns over flood risk.

The site is also one of historic importance and councillors felt the need for a full archaeological survey.
