Market Rasen Town Council has contacted Lincolnshire County Council’s highways department after a spate of people parking on double yellow lines in the town.
At a council finance and facilities committee meeting, Coun Ken Bridger reported how he has had reports about parking on double yellow lines.
The meeting was told how traffic wardens were out patrolling but could not impose fines as the the yellow lines were ‘broken’.
Committee members agreed for town clerk Faye Lambkin-Smith to report parking on double yellow lines to the highways department.
The meeting was held in the committee room at the Festival Hall in Caistor Road, Market Rasen on November 18.
