Staff from Lincolnshire Co-op will be swapping their day jobs to spruce up the local community.
And they are looking for people to join them at Willingham Woods on Saturday July 4.
Members, junior members, staff, customers and other co-ops are invited to join Society colleagues at the clean-up, which starts at 10.30am and will finish around 12.30pm, with lunch provided.
“We’re really looking forward to getting stuck into some volunteering projects in our communities and it’s even better doing it as part of a country-wide event, said Community Engagement Manager Sam Turner.
“It’s a perfect way to celebrate Co-operatives Fortnight and demonstrate how working co-operatively helps us achieve great results! We hope people will be able to spare a couple of hours of their time to help the local environment.”
If you’d like to volunteer, register your attendance at www.lincolnshire.coop/events or call Lincolnshire Co-op’s Membership and Community team on 01522 544 632.
The clean up is part of this year’s Co-operatives Fortnight, which runs from June 20 to July 4.
