Thousands of people took a peek behind the farm gate to find out more about how our food is produced at Open Farm Sunday.
Sutton Estates at Hall Farm, Stainton le Vale, and Uncle Henry’s at Grayingham, were among many food producers taking part in the national event.
Hall Farm was full of activity throughout the day with families enjoying the varied stalls, information points and activities on offer.
There was also a chance to tour the estate on the tractor and trailer rides, which proved very popular.
The event was also a stop for the Marie Curie tractor run from Ludborough.
At Uncle Henry’s, the farm-to-fork experience included the ABN Animal Discovery Zone featuring Lincoln Longwool Sheep, hatching chicks and Daisy the milking cow, and the Lincolnshire Market area, where Uncle Henry’s food heroes educated visitors on how the farm’s raw materials are processed into delicious food products.
