Plans for seven starter homes in Oxford Street have won the support of Market Rasen Town Council.
They said the revised design from Tradelight was better than the former ‘eco-friendly’ homes that were not in keeping with the area.
However, councillors said they would express concerns to West Lindsey District Council about the proposal having just six parking spaces when town council policy is every home should have its own parking space.
Outline plans for five homes at The Woodlands, were opposed by town councillors, who have called for information as to who owns the access road to the planned site before they can decide whether to support it. They also said the access road was ‘only a narrow lane’ that was used by others including the ‘fishing lakes.’
“There needs to be more consideration before the application is put in,” said Mayor John Matthews.
Town councillors also recommended approval to two homes at the back of Willow House, Legsby Road.
