Briggensians from far and wide returned to their old school and the town of Brigg for their 2015 reunion.

The Briggensians Association is made up of former students from the Sir John Nelthorpe School, together with the preceding schools of Brigg Grammar and Brigg Girls High.

The reunion dinner was held at Elsham Golf Club.

And attending his first dinner since being appointed as Headteacher at the school was Robert Bigland, who spoke about his background before coming to the school and his hopes for the future of the school.

Master of Ceremonies was John Hastings and the guest speaker was former Head of Sixth Form Nick Grafton.

And it was a special year for those who left the old Brigg Grammar School in 1975 as it marked 40 years since they left for university and the wider world.

Those attending from the 1968 to 1975 group at Brigg Grammar School
included Michael Bell,
Hamish Bichan, Stephen Blakey, David Harness, George Jewitt, David Lischka, Neil Marland, Ross McFarlane, Mark Proctor, Philip Travis Jim van den Bos and Jonathan Wells, some of whom are pictured above.
